Hyseal Concentrate is a surface applied crystalline waterproofing system for use in below grade applications such as concrete basements and water holding structures.The Hyseal waterproofing system ensures the total and permanent solution to water leakage Moisture and free lime in the substrate react with the active chemicals in Mix Hyseal to create a continuous barrier of insoluble crystals which penetrate deep into the water bearing capillaries of the concrete. The Hyseal crystals block the capillaries and interstices from the passage of water whilst allowing the transmission of air and water vapor, enabling the structure to breathe. Hyseal is equally effective against both positive and negative water pressure and can be used as an admixture or surface applied as a slurry on the internal or external concrete surface. Full waterproofing is usually achieved 5-7 days after application. After the crystallization process has successfully waterproofed the structure the active chemicals in Hyseal remain dormant in the concrete.
